Graduate Assistant – Assistant to Peggy Novotny, Director of
Marketing at the College of Human
Ecology Responsibilities include conducting
interviews for newsletters, creating power-points, writing and producing videos
and other audio visual projects for use during the college’s special events and
other occasions. I also worked with the
director several days a week to gain a working knowledge of the
responsibilities of her position. I
attended university marketing meetings and worked with various people within
that are related to these directives.

Campus Living Television – Student Producer
Responsibilities included writing, editing, directing and
assembling campaigns for use at E.C.U. in video format for air on television
and websites. DVD’s were also sent to over
4,000 prospective students. During this
time I also completed a historical documentary featuring many leaders and
figures in the universities history. It can currently be viewed on ECU-TV.

Representative
Responsibilities include attending regular meetings to
discuss projects, issues, current events and other information directly related
to student media. The board discusses
various topics within the realm of student media as well as votes on campaigns
and new directives or projects that impact the entire student body.

Spring 2008
Peggy Novotny, Director of Marketing for the College
of Human Ecology has brought me on
board with this great community outreach program that helps to rebuild homes in
distress located in West Greenville. Currently I am raising awareness through my
position as Treasurer of the Communication Graduate Student Association in an
effort to get fellow students to volunteer some of their time for this great
cause.
