Where do you stand? Are you a liberal or conservative? Do you claim to be a member of a particular political party? If so, what is your reasoning for making your choice? Are you simply following in the footsteps of your family? Perhaps you are just following what they teach you on networks like CNN... Personally, I can't imagine anyone who fully understands the fabric that America is made of could ever agree with the present state of our government. What ever happened to "We the People"? How has America been torn away from the small business, small town type people who work for what they have? How can so many Americans fall into the ideology of thinking that the government should supply them with everything? Don't all Americans have the chance at a free high school education? Is it MY fault if you quit and I didn't? Should some other person have to pay for your poor life choices? According to what I see in the news on a daily basis, plenty of you feel that way. Lets get something straight, no one owes any of you anything...period. If you want a nice home, then do what I am doing. Work! Go to college and work. Or better yet, go to college, work, and raise a family. When the college days are behind you and you have the "better" job, you will understand the "other" side of the fence. I could go on for hours. Lets get back to the basics. What is America? The land of the free and the home of the brave. Not the land of those wanting handouts and free government health care. Of course, unless that person is physically or mentally disabled. Besides that...get off of your duff and work for a living. Contribute to American and She will be good to you...in the long run. Certainly NOT over-night. If you want to get engaged in these types of discussions, please join the DukeNet forum and we will hash it out...in a friendly adult manner. This isn't the place for vulgar language. Remember, our kids read the pages of the web as well...
