Hello All:

We are called to take care of those of this world whom are the "least".  There are many ways to perform this duty that God commands us to do.  This just happens to be a great one.  I learned about this organization at the Mercy Me / Bebo Norman concert that I attended on 10-16-08.  It was confirmed to me by a fellow brother-in-Christ that this is a wonderful organization.  He expressed to me that his family had sponsored a child whom eventually became self sustaining.  Have a look, search your heart, and ask yourself (and your spouse) if you can spare $32.00 per month to Bless a child whom has nothing.  With your donation the child that you choose to take care of will be taught the ways of Jesus.  From what I hear you will receive letters from this child and even have to chance to meet...if you so choose...

I whole heartely agree Ryan. Compassion International is a wonderful organization. Kelly and I have sponsored a little girl for over 5 years now. Her name is Mary Wanjiku and she lives in Kenya. We receive about 4 letters a year, and we respond to each one.  It's something we get our boy's involved in, writing the letters, drawing pictures, and praying for Mary. Sometimes we send family pictures which are prized by the children.  On her birthday and Christmas we are allowed to send alittle extra money for Mary to get a dress or something special like that.  Every year we get an up-to-date photo and background info. Kelly has been praying that one day a mission trip and God opening a door that would allow her to actually meet Mary, or we will just have to meet her on the other side.  Mary and Compassion International has been a blessing for our family
